Welcome to Griffin Motor Club

Griffin Motor Club is a Rhondda-based motor club with a strong passion for rallying and motorsport. We meet once a month at 7:00pm at the Tremains Hotel, Parc Road, Cwmparc, Treorchy, Rhondda CF42 6LG, conveniently located on the main road through the village. Details of upcoming meetings are regularly shared on our Facebook page, Griffin Motor Club.

Our members bring a wealth of experience across all aspects of rallying and event organisation, including Stage Commanders, Deputy Stage Commanders, Event Safety Officers, Chief Marshals, Marshals, Radio Operators, and Sector Officials.

Over the years, we have proudly supported a wide range of rally events, assisting with stage starts and finishes, radio cars, and marshalling duties. We have organised and managed stages for Wales Rally GB across locations including Rhondda, Resolven, Rheola, Margam, and Dyfnant, while also supporting numerous club and national motorsport events. In addition, we organise our own Targa rally event at Walters Arena Motorsport Complex.

Several of our active members regularly compete in both stage and Targa rally events, either as drivers or navigators, reflecting the club’s continued enthusiasm and dedication to the sport.

We are always pleased to welcome new members. Whether you are an experienced competitor, an enthusiast, or simply interested in getting involved in motorsport, we invite you to join us at one of our meetings or accompany us at an event to experience the excitement first-hand.
